    I purchased this TV on a deep discount after the G5 was introduced and it replaced my C4. It's an amazing TV. Gorgeous colors and clarity. I love it. It was easy to set up and has been a nice upgrade.

    Bought a brand new LG G4 OLED TV from LG.com, and the TV DOES NOT TURN ON most of the time! Have to power cycle the TV (unplug/replug from outlet) each time to get it to turn on. Also, TV randomly turns OFF, especially when its in Always Ready mode. Followed all the instructions from tech support to troubleshoot, but nothing worked. LG technician came out and looked at the error codes and reported that both the TV panel and the motherboard were defective. Since it is within the 14-day return window, I can get either a refund or replacement. I considered getting a replacement, but since they would only replace it with another LG G4, I decided it was too risky. If the panel and motherboard of the replacement TV stop working after the 14-day return window, then I might be stuck with a malfunctioning TV, spending hours on the phone with customer support and technicians, trying to get it to work properly. I did ask if they would replace it with an LG G5 (I think its the same price on their website, and the reviews are better), but they declined. So I have asked for a full refund. Sad, because the TV actually looked pretty good the few times it turned on. :(

    The product was supposed to be delivered on three separate occasions I paid for delivery and installation. Yeah, they delivered it and said that they weren't installing it. It took me a month to get the TV and now I'm trying to figure out how to get the fire stick to work with the TV. I can have the channels go up and down, but the volume doesn't seem to work on the fire stick with this TV. Worst of all they were supposed to credit me $50 as an inconvenience credit and that still hasn't happened promises made promise is broken but the TV came very well Promise is

    Best picture quality, perfect out of the box. 5 year of software upgrades is awesome and 5 year panel warranty is awesome too. Paired with the LG S95TR and it takes the sound to a whole new level.

    Horrible experience. I just purchased the G4 77" TV and after a month the TV will not startup. I can't believe this. I cannot even do a factory reset to fix it.

    I bought new LG OLED 55" GR TV. It worked for three months and then suddenly it was turning off after few minutes. I reset everything thing still didn't work, in few days I noticed thin line appeared on screen and now it doesn't turn on at all. Warranty is not covering because their approved service shop without property checking just blaming its physical damage, when it's not. Will never recommend this TV to anyone.

    What's with the Stand Availability?

    This review is not about the TV itself, but about the need/hassle/extra expense for the Table top Stand. It's now not included in the TV purchase. Furthermore, even when ordering and paying for this stand at the same time as the TV, LG has not been able to deliver the stand or even provide a promised FedEx tracking number over one week later. They keep saying "it's on its way from the courier and you'll get a tracking number in the next few hours or the next day." I've gotten the same story (from 5 different accented service reps) for the last 5 days. I question whether the item is even in stock. I'm one more phone inquiry away from canceling the order.

    Everything about this TV is excellent. I think the picture is outstanding in HDR, SDR, sports, playstation, and anything else. The processing of both HDR and SDR content is excellent with colors and brightness easily dialed in to my liking. The 4K upscaling works really well. The connection to each HDMI port changes to the correct port when I use the remote for that equipment. I have the 77" TV and it is immersive (I view it from 4-11 ft.). I feel like I am in a movie theater, but the picture is better than most movie theaters. I do have it on a stand and I like it. There is a slight tilt backwards built into the stand by design, and it does not detract from my viewing experience. I am using this with an LG soundbar SG10TY 3.1 and the sound is excellent in my opinion. I am really enjoying this TV. Highly recommended!

    Remote Control and CEC Issues

    I am a long-standing LG customer and I got the OLED65G4 a few months back. While the display is undeniably impressive, the overall user experience has been a major letdown due to persistent software and technical flaws. One of the most frustrating issues is the HDMI-CEC function, which is completely unreliable. Connected devices either don't get recognized at all or fail to work properly, making it a headache to control anything seamlessly. But the worst part? The TV won't reliably turn on or off with the Magic Remote. Ever since the last software update, the power button has become unresponsive, leaving me with no choice but to reset the TV. Even that doesn't help much as after a day of use, the remote will stop working again. This kind of malfunction is unacceptable for any TV. LG's support has been no help whatsoever. Despite attempts to get assistance, all I've received are unhelpful replies and vague promises that they're "working on it." For a brand that markets itself as premium, this lack of a real solution is beyond frustrating. At this point, I wouldn't recommend the G4 to anyone.
