    1 worked well. The others from Buydig have battery problems. They seem to be old ones that dont charge

    I was not pleased with the purchase as both remotes were clearly used and one would never synchronize with the system. I have purchased others from other vendors and not have these problems.

    Didn't stay charged. Good idea, but had no chance to use it. Emailed Buydig and was told they had a bad batch and would never get them back. Wish they worked, because it's a great idea.

    Works great - has 4 buttons. Each which can be easily programmed to perform action on Z-wave devices, or set whole scenes. Usable for security system, lights, and fun. Rechargeable over mini usb or can be easily powered over usb.

    Bad batteries in these Minimotes

    Although new in the box these remotes are old. Past the shelf life old. The Li polymer batteries in these remotes have a shelf life of about five years and these remotes were built in 2011. Aeon Labs considers them "second hand stock" and therefore they do not warranty these Version 1 Minimotes. I recommend you avoid these older remotes.

    Pros: (If it works out of the box) -Simple pairing w/ Smart Things V2 Hub and Function Programming -Easy USB charging -Light and comfortable in hand -GREAT price when ordered in 2 pack! Cons: -High DOA failure Rate - ordered 2 and only 1 worked -Have to return to get partial refund and return process is NOT smooth or quick (they paid shipping), going on 3 weeks and no refund yet.... Other thoughts: Appear to be NEW old-stock units with lithium batteries reaching failure 'charge-by' date.

    Pros: It paired easily with my Almond+ router. It is able to communicate through 2 floors (basement to second story) when using the USB power supply. The price was great. Cons: It was a tight fit getting the clamps around my power lines in the main breaker box. It is not the latest model. Other thoughts:

    Can this be used with the Amazon Echo without hub?
