This is a beautiful, heavy duty, powerful machine. It has 800 watts of power that exceeds any KA model I looked at. It remains in place on the counter even at high speeds, it just does not jump around at all and the motor hardly gets warm at extended mixing times. It comes with the splatter shield, mixing paddle, whisk and twist bread hook. I have made bread and cookies to date. This can handle the heavy jobs. The splatter shield fits perfectly and is easy to remove. I believe this is a superior machine and I researched all of the home machines. Cuisinart is known for their precision products and I am so happy with this model. The 5 1/2 Qt. model is big enough for at least two loafs of bread and possibly a third. It fits nicely under my very old cabinetry on our counter. I have seen only positive reviews on this stand mixer which is why I chose it. I feel very sure that anyone would love this mixer. It also comes with a great video and recipe book that doubles as an info book. Buydig.com had the best price of anyone and believe me I looked everywhere online. I got the white and it is really beautiful. I think it would fit any style kitchen. I just can't say enough great things about this mixer. I hope you get it for someone you love.

It does not move on the counter even while mixing bread dough and everything cleans up nicely. The price on this site with the additional promo code was the best deal anywhere.
