Woops! I actually purchased the 12 piece set, I forgot to include the block! However Both my husband and I are pleased as punch with the set. It matches perfectly with the can opener, toaster, waffle iron and combination coffee & hot water dispenser we've also purchased. As for the set it self? Very high quality, sharp and well weighted handles. Good work Cuisinart!

This was a upgrade from an old Cuisinart knife set I like the way the block magnetically separates for the stake knives.

This is a great, sturdy set of knives. I wish it came in a set with smaller knives (like paring, peeler) but overall I have been pleased after using these for about a year now.
