January is here, which only means one thing, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) made its return to Las Vegas! The annual event just introduced the world’s latest technology at the year’s biggest technology conference. We have a rundown on a few of the headliners!
This was a huge year for TVs at CES
We saw some real innovation and some big leaps forward. TV makers are pushing the edge of the envelope like never before.
LG
LG Electronics introduced a variety of their new products. Among these was the release of 2019 TVs with Alexa and Google Assistant support, 8K OLED, full HDMI 2.1 support and more. Then there’s the most intriguing: their roll-up OLED TV that emerges from a “box”. When you’re done watching, it rolls back down out of sight! It was a big year for LG’s!
Samsung
Samsung announced that their Smart TVs will soon be equipped with iTunes Movies & TV Shows and will support AirPlay 2 beginning Spring 2019. Samsung is also launching a new Notebook Odyssey to take PC gaming more seriously. This is exciting news for gamers!
Computing took center stage at CES this year.
HP
HP announced Chromebook 14. It’s the world’s first AMD-powered Chromebook running on either an AMD A4 or A6 processor with integrated Radeon R4 or R5 graphics. It has 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage and support for Android apps from the Google Play Store. Keep checking with Buydig.com because these models will start shipping in January.
Asus
A gamer’s dream come true? Asus launches a new 17-inch, 10-pound Surface Pro gaming laptop, the Asus ROG Mothership. It has also announced Zephyrus S GX701, the smallest and lightest 17-inch gaming laptop yet.
Audio Equipment made quite the statement this year.

A-T was excited to debut several new products, including new wireless headphones, turntables, and more. A-T set the bar for turntables at CES 2019 with one of the most significant product rollouts in the company’s history. With models for everyone from professionals to entry-level vinyl enthusiasts, they’re offering a variety of new releases, including A-T’s first-ever turntable/headphone bundle. Making their debut at CES were three new pairs of A-T’s signature QuietPoint wireless, active noise-cancelling headphones. Featuring their new digital hybrid active noise cancellation technology.

DJI introduced a powerful new remote controller for its drones. It features steady 4K video thanks to the 3-axis gimbal and intelligent features including Panorama, Hyperlapse, Activetrack and more.
