Whether you are surfing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, or scuba diving it’s easiest to learn while the water is still warm.
4) Head to the Farmers Market
Take advantage of the bounties of the sun by stocking up on some fresh produce at your local farmers market. Food always tastes better with fresh all-natural ingredients.
5) Have a Picnic in the Park!
Making the most of the remainder of your summer vacation doesn’t have to involve big trips abroad or going on new adventures. Sometimes it’s as simple as setting up a picnic blanket on freshly cut grass at your local park for Sunday brunch. Bring a frisbee or a football for some fun under the sun. Simply being outdoors and active under the sun’s rays is what summertime is all about.
6) Enjoy an Outdoor Movie Night
Got a movie in mind that’s recently been released on Blu Ray or DVD? Instead of adding it to your nightly binge watching queue, why not use it as an excuse to bring all your friends and family together for some fun outdoors. If you’ve got a lawn, a projector, and an outdoor screen—put your backyard to use by hosting an epic outdoor movie night. 7) Check out the County Fair
Cotton candy, carnival games, and fried dough—a trip to the county fair could be just what you need to make the most of your remaining summer. Romantic rides on ferris wheels, oversized stuffed animal prizes, deep fried Twinkies, bacon wrapped turkey legs, and vintage home brewed root beer, are just some of the things you may encounter at a county fair. Indulge in some last minute fun and fried food at your local county fair.
8) Explore the Great Outdoors!
There’s nothing quite like spending a cool summer night roasting marshmallows over a campfire, singing songs, and making s’mores. The warm weather is perfect for spending your weekend outdoors. Go on a camping trip at a nearby mountain or spend your last summer days fishing at a lakeside cabin. Even if you can’t take an entire weekend, a Saturday morning hike could be enough of an adventure to recharge your mind and body and take advantage of that sunshine.
