Who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee? So often when we go out for coffee, we tend to get the fancy coffees that we do not make at home. Did you know you can recreate some of your favorite coffeehouse favorites in your kitchen? Don’t go to the coffee house when you can make these amazing coffee house drinks at home. Think of the money you will save!
Naturally Sweetened Caramel Macchiato- This vegan naturally sweetened caramel macchiato is perfection in a mug.
Ingredients
For the salted coconut caramel sauce:
- 1 14- ounce can coconut milk
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
For the caramel Macchiato:
- 6 ounces strong-brewed coffee or 1 shot of espresso
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon salted caramel sauce + more for serving
Directions
Make the salted coconut caramel:
- Add the coconut milk, maple syrup, and coconut sugar to a medium-sized sauce pan and bring it to a full boil. Allow mixture to boil, stirring frequently, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and salt to the caramel mixture. Stir until combined, then remove caramel from the heat.
Make the caramel macchiato:
- Heat the milk using the milk frother on the DeLonghi Lattissima Espresso/Cappuccino Machine from Buydig.com.
- Add 1 tablespoon of prepared caramel to the bottom of a mug. Add 6 ounces of strong coffee (or 1 to 2 shots of espresso) and stir until well-combined.
- Then Add frothed milk.

Mocha Peanut Butter Frosty- The perfect coffee for those hot and muggy days of August.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup chocolate soy milk or low fat chocolate milk, chilled
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
- 1 (4 oz.) container whipped chocolate yogurt
- 1/3 cup chocolate whey protein powdered drink mix
- 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter, stirred
- Ice cubes
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Combine soy milk and coffee crystals in blender container until crystals are dissolved.
- Add yogurt, protein powder, peanut butter and enough ice cubes to equal two cups. Process 45 seconds or until smooth.
Pour into two tall glasses. Garnish with cinnamon, if desired.
Grapefruit Cappuccino– A cappuccino enhanced with the herbal scents of summer.
Ingredients
- Capsule of Grand Cru Volluto
- .4 oz. of grapefruit juice
- spoonful of honey
- milk
- rosemary branch
Directions
- Pour the grapefruit juice and honey in the bottom of your cup
