Designed and created specifically for the RV and camping lifestyle, Garmin’s RV 895 and RV 1095 navigators showcase a unique set of features to provide real time data in a multitude of ways.  Garmin’s new RV series navigators provide increased information and awareness to help you drive and maneuver larger vehicles, such as a recreational vehicle, and navigation routes that best suites your vehicles weight, class, and tow.  Furthermore, Garmin’s collection of RV navigators offers preloaded traveler content and BirdsEye satellite imagery.  Plus, with the new RV 895 and RV 1095, you can even get a split screen image that shows your navigation map on one side while the other displays your route overview and any potential weather conditions.

• BirdsEye Satellite Imagery – This is a very cool feature that helps you navigate into your campgrounds and RV Park via aerial satellite imagery. Many GPS for motorhomes will only take you so far, but often you will need further navigation to a specific parking area or dock and the BirdsEye Satellite Imagery takes you beyond the main roads.

Compatible Garmin Products

The Garmin RV 895 and 1095 navigators are compatible with many of Garmin’s innovative products that can help enhance and simplify your travelling experience.  One of the best compatible products recommended for your trip is the BC 50 wireless backup camera.  An RV GPS with backup camera which is displayed right from the navigator making it easier to maneuver your larger vehicle.  You can also pair the RV navigator to the Garmin PowerSwitch digital switch box which gives you controls for the 12 volt electronics in your vehicle like lights and fans.  Or, enjoy the peacefulness of Garmin’s Wireless Bluetooth Headset which features active noise cancelation, crystal clear audio, and calls.

The Garmin RV 895 gives 1280×800 pixels across a stunning 8” wide view, IPS, Color TFT, with on-cell capacitive touch panel, weighs about 405g with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can last up to 2 hours.

The Garmin RV 1095 gives 1280×800 pixels across a stunning 10” wide view, IPS, Color TFT, with on-lens capacitive touch panel, weighs about 554g with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can last up to 2 hours.

Both models feature magnetic mounts for simple instillation, a 1” ball adapter with AMPS plate, MicroSD port, with 32GB of internal storage.  Both models feature navigation from GPS and Galileo GPS systems which will provide the best accuracy and information.
