The biggest consumer expo of the year, the Consumer Electronics Show, took place this month in Las Vegas. We have the latest CES 2020 news, including the most innovative, useful, ground-breaking new products in tech. Here are the CES 2020 highlights that will help enhance your life. Most of these products aren’t available on the mass market quite yet, but stay tuned for releases in the coming months.
Samsung Q950 8K QLED TV
Look, no bezel! Samsung is pushing the boundaries of, well, everything with its new flagship TV. There’s 8K resolution, updates to the 8K Quantum Processor and Full Array Local Dimming system, a new Adaptive Picture+ mode for optimizing performance according to the ambient light conditions, and even a sonic equivalent, called Adaptive Picture+. But the real CES 2020 highlight is the bezel-less, Infinity Screen design. Using 99% of the front facade for the screen, and measuring only 14.9mm deep, it’s an awesome looking television.
LG 48in CX Series OLED TV
Despite all the shiny new TVs and intriguing TV tech upgrades that top the CES 2020 news, one of the most impressive releases may be the simple matter of a new screen size. Up until now, OLED TVs have been the preserve of 55-inch sets and above. No more. LG introduced the OLED48CX. A 48in OLED TV that forms a key part of the CX Series, new for 2020. LG’s CX range of OLED TVs appears virtually identical to the Award-winning C9 series from last year but adds fresh picture processing upgrades, and both Filmmaker Mode and Dolby Vision IQ.
Fastest Computer
Lenovo teamed up with the legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati to create one of the fastest laptops you’ve ever seen. If you’re a gamer, a streamer, or just want things fast, the Lenovo Ducati 5 Laptop might just be the biggest CES 2020 laptop for you.
Most Innovative Computer
This Lenovo X1 Fold is the world’s first foldable PC, making it a compact and versatile option if you often need a full computer on the go. Use it as a tablet, fold it into a laptop, attach a keyboard if you’d like, or use it as a computer monitor with said keyboard. This is the most pliable, cross-functional computer. Which makes it a top CES 2020 laptop contender.
Best Work Laptop
Another CES 2020 laptop to check out is the HP Elite Dragonfly G2. It’s a two-in-one laptop computer from HP that is lightweight, handles 5G wireless, has an improved privacy display, and comes with built-in support for smart location tracking of the device.
HP Envy 32 All-in-One
This All-in-one desktop is a CES 2020 news worthy device. The HP Envy 32 offers a roomy 4K display, a robust sound bar, and genuinely powerful components, including a desktop Core i7-9700 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics. This makes it a bit like a Windows 10-based iMac, able to handle similar demanding workloads, and more powerful than the Microsoft Surface Studio 2. It’s less expensive than both, while also bringing useful extra features to the table like wireless phone charging in its base and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity that lets you use its sound bar like any remote speaker. These features, and how they all come together in a streamlined package, earned it an Editors’ Choice and a CES 2020 highlight spot!
Audio Technica’s Best Yet?
Threatening Sony’s supremacy in the premium true wireless earbuds market are Audio Technica’s most advanced pair yet. Three-step noise-cancellation, aptX Bluetooth, a water-resistance design and app features work in the ATH-ANC300TW’s favor. Qualcomm’s TrueWireless Stereo Plus tech (which transmits music directly to each earbud) is onboard for improved latency and power consumption. Can’t wait for these CES 2020 news worthy earbuds to hit the market? Then check out these awesome offers from Buydig.com on some great Audio Technica devices!
