3) Roasted Garlic Kale Hummus
Hummus is already one of the healthier chip dips available at Super Bowl parties across the nation. Why not boost this healthy staple with a superfood like kale? Julia Mueller, author of Let Them Eat Kale! posted this recipe on roasted garlic kale hummus on the blog Oh My Veggies. Kale is chock full of healthy nutrients, including vitamins A, K and C, beta carotene and antioxidants. Kale has a distinct leafy taste that some may not find palatable in their salad, but if you integrate it into a fun dip like hummus, all you need is a bag of tortilla chips or some crackers and you’re good to go.
